BEST CONTENT IDEA - DIGITAL


SUPPORTING STATEMENT

Judges will be looking for exclusive content that resonated with the audience. It can be words, pictures, video – or a combination of all three and can be produced for any digital platform. The submission should demonstrate the originality and quality of the work.

Please submit a supporting statement of no more than 300 words. Please include a word count.

REQUIREMENTS

Digital editors should send a link to one piece of online work and enclose a hard copy screen grab on behalf of the person or team being put forward for this award Should you wish to enter more than once for this category a separate entry must be submitted for each feature.

Please enclose stats/metrics including audience engagement analytics as a separate document and do not include them in the supporting statement.

The feature must have been published during the period 1 January to 31 December 2016.

Please note – the title's editor should ratify each entry but may not be listed as an entrant as they are eligible to enter the main BSME Awards.

The judges will be looking for:

·         Originality

·         Engagement

·         Quality of work

·         Contribution to site traffic

·         Relevance to audience

Please complete the form below and send it with the statement, pieces of work and payment to the BSME Office. Please send the completed entry form as a word document and include digital links so the work can be easily viewed. The supporting statement and material should be sent as one complete PDF either on a disc or USB stick, with a print-out on A4 paper. Please keep a copy for your records.

Either pay for the entry online (click here) or send a cheque made payable to the BSME with your entry. The entry fee is £95.00 for BSME members and £118.00 for Non-BSME members (to qualify for the BSME rate the art department head must have been a member of the BSME during the period 1 January to 31 December 2016. If you had temporary membership from entering the main BSME 2016 Awards you must pay the non-member rate).

A VAT receipt will be sent out in due course.

  • Incomplete entries will not be processed
  • Entries received without payment will not be processed
  • Entries and supporting material will not be returned
