Membership Details
FULL MEMBERSHIP
of the BSME is open to serving editors, website editors, editors-in-chief and editorial directors of recognised consumer, business and contract magazines published in the UK. It costs £102 inc VAT per annum.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
is open to former editors, website editors, editors-in-chief and editorial directors and to serving deputy editors, managing editors, art directors, assistant editors and sections heads (ie fashion editors, beauty editors, chief sub-editors etc). Associate membership may also be granted to other senior editorial staff at the discretion of the committee. The cost is £72 inc VAT.
A cheque, made payable to the British Society of Magazine Editors, should be attached to this application form. Please also enclose a copy of your magazine. Membership is at the discretion of the committee, but your money will be refunded if your application is not successful.
Membership runs until 31 December 2012 and is personal to the applicant, regardless of the method of payment.
