BEST FEATURE IDEA - PRINT
Judges will be looking for an exclusive feature that resonated with readers and/or the industry. The content of the feature can cover anything, from celebrity interviews to investigative pieces, but the submission must clearly explain why it was original and its relevance to the audience.
Please submit a supporting statement of no more than 300 words. Please include a word count.
Line managers should submit one piece of work or team being put forward for this award. Should you wish to enter more than once for this category a separate entry must be submitted for each feature. The feature must have been published during the period 1 January to 31 December 2016.
Please note – the title's editor should ratify each entry but may not be listed as an entrant as they are eligible to enter the main BSME Awards.
The judges will be looking for:
· Quality of work
· Relevance to audience
Please complete the form below and send it with the statement, pieces of work and payment to the BSME Office. Please send the completed entry form as a word document. The supporting statement and material should be sent as one complete PDF either on a disc or USB stick, with a print-out on A4 paper. Please keep a copy for your records.
Either pay for the entry online (click here) or send a cheque made payable to the BSME with your entry. The entry fee is £95.00 for BSME members and £118.00 for Non-BSME members (to qualify for the BSME rate the line manager must have been a member of the BSME during the period 1 January to 31 December 2016. If you had temporary membership from entering the main BSME 2016 Awards you must pay the non-member rate).
A VAT receipt will be sent out in due course.

- Entries received without payment will not be processed
