SEPTEMBER

The British Society of Magazine Editors are thrilled to invite you to lunch with bestselling author, award-winning journalist and bona fide British icon - Caitlin Moran.

Currently BSME’s Columnist of the Year 2024, Caitlin’s 2012 book How to be a Woman became a global sensation, translated into 32 languages and hailed as one of The Most Influential Books of the 21st Century. Since then, she’s written four more bestsellers and created the award-winning sitcom, Raised by Wolves, which garnered the 2015 Rose d'Or for Best International Comedy.

At this intimate lunch at Rosewood London, Caitlin will be in conversation with our 2025 Chair, Andrea Thompson (Editor-in-Chief, Marie Claire), sharing stories from her remarkable career – from teenage columnist in Wolverhampton to national treasure – and reflecting on what makes a truly great column.

Caitlin will also be introducing the new BSME Young Writers' Prize, coming in 2026. This new initiative, created in partnership with Caitlin, aims to help talented young writers from underrepresented backgrounds break into the industry.

This is a rare chance to hear from one of the most brilliant and fearless voices in British journalism. Don’t miss it!
